Mandarin detox mocktail
Have you ever done a "detox mocktail"? Some quick research brought up some common ingredients - combined with some fresh mandarins - and some non-alcoholic gin in this mojito style drink and you got a pretty amazing detox mocktail to sip on with some benefits.
Ingredients:
- 2oz Clever gin
- 1/2oz lime juice
- 1/4oz simple syrup (the mandarins were sweet - adjust as needed)
- 4-5 mint leaves
- pinch of turmeric
- pinch of cayenne
- half a Mandarin
- ginger beer to top
- garnish: mandarin slice and mint
Method:
Put mint, lime juice and Mandarin in shaker and muddle. Add everything else except ginger beer and shake with ice. Strain into tall glass filled with fresh ice. Top with about 1oz of ginger beer and add garnish. Cheers!
